Above Average Automotive LLC is a Jacksonville, Florida–based automotive repair company built from experience, persistence, and a genuine love for the craft.

The business began as side work while I was employed as a technician at independent repair shops and later at a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM and Fiat dealership, where I gained extensive hands-on experience along with factory-specific training and certifications.

Those years in the shop shaped my diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and commitment to doing repairs the right way—not the fast or easy way. In 2018, a serious leg injury during a weekend off unexpectedly ended my dealership career.

What could have been the end instead became a turning point. After recovery and a lot of reflection, I decided to take everything I’d learned and build something of my own. By late 2019, Above Average Automotive LLC became a full-time operation. What started as side gigs turned into a business focused on honest diagnostics, quality workmanship, and treating customers with respect—the same way I’d want my own vehicle handled.

Today, Above Average Automotive proudly serves the Jacksonville area, offering reliable repairs backed by real dealership-level experience without the dealership attitude or pressure. The goal has always been simple: do Above-Average work, every time.
